Whakarewarewa and 12 Days of Christmas

Here at Whakarewarewa – The Living Māori Village,  we love Christmas!  So, to get in the holiday spirit, we thought we’d remake the Christmas classic, The 12 Days of Christmas and give it an extreme makeover, Whaka styles.

Here’s our version, featuring our team, whanau, hangi pies, our Tama the Pukeko, Pukepoto The Pukeko, corn on the cobb, the famous Te Pakira Cultural Performance group – and more!

If you’d like to sing along, here’s the words. Enjoy – and Merry Christmas from our whanau to yours.
